Art & Design are communication tools for creative people allowing them to effectively express their ideas to others.
A Note for Parents:
We are entering a partnership with you and your son or daughter. We will teach them with rigor and compassion and we ask you to follow through by adding support at home. As this is an Aerospace and Engineering themed School, our goal it to have your daughter or son fully engaged in the college preparation courses which provide a synergy of experience around our theme. To meet this goal, we need to prepare all students for the independence, discipline, and intellectual rigor of the college life. We do this through a series of spiraling and interlocking Visual Arts and Design courses which evolve to college content and expectations of professionalism (please see below).
To facilitate our preparation for your child’s successful AA&E experience, all material, deadlines, and homework are provided on these websites. Please note that some of the lectures are purposefully not archived on the site to build note taking skill needed in college. Please feel free to contact me with any issue or concern about your child’s education in these classes or to volunteer any expertise you think would be beneficial for the class content through direct instruction, demonstrations, site visitation opportunities, etc.
