Ms. Becky Peabody is one of two visual arts instructors at The Academy of Aerospace and Engineering High School in Hartford, CT. Hailing from the tiny state of Rhode Island, Ms. Peabody got her bachelor's degree in Studio Art from the University of Rhode Island with a minor in Art History. She then went on to Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston to get her Masters in Art Education. Prior to joining the AAE team, Ms. Peabody lived and worked in Ellsworth, Maine teaching high school visual arts.
Ms. Peabody is very excited to be working with the students of AAE this year! She is a firm believer in the importance of visual arts courses no matter what your career path. Visual arts courses are vital to the development of creative problem solving skills that are crucial in the majority of careers. The Visual Arts programs at AAE enforce these ideals combining design and engineering and more. |
